Kids Swimming with Sharks – Crazy things Indonesian do
I have post a few things on food, I can’t seem to get away from food. But this article inspired me to have a section about the crazy things Indonesian do.
I was shocked by this article, kids in Indonesia swimming with sharks, wowzers… It turns out despite it size and its name, this type shark only eats on macro-algae, plankton, krill, Christmas Island red crab larvae, and small nektonic life such as small squid or vertebrates.
According to Wikipedia, The whale shark holds many records for sheer size in the animal kingdom, most notably being by far the largest living non-mammalian vertebrate, rivaling many of the largest dinosaurs in weight.
This shark can be found in West Papua in a national park called Teluk Cendrawasih. The article just said that the kids in this bay loves playing with the sharks every day and have become the sharks friend.
- Teluk: Bay
