Felt + Art = Cornershop
The equation might not make sense, but it does.
Warungs (Waa-roongs) in England are called cornershops. Because they are more likely to be on a corner of a road, or are so tiny that they are always with lots of nooks and cranny.
Anyways this clever lady, Lucy Sparrow, found an old Corner derelict shop back into a corner shop. The twist is, she is selling groceries made out of felt.
What a brilliant idea right? Most art I appreciate is from the brilliance of the concept/idea.
Here are some pictures of the shop.
A shelf in shop.
Beer and Spaghetti
All made of felt!
Aren’t they cool?
Unfortunately this was the last week this shop is going to be there in London. I think she is taking the shop around the country.
