Favourite Stationery Shops – London
Stationery, is one of my weaknessess, and maybe spelling. 🙂 But have wanted to talk about this for a while. Whenever I travel I look into bookshops and stationery shops, rather than clothes shops. So on a theory that someone else out there is similar to me here are my favourites in London.
Paperchase
This brand is a chain in the UK you can find it easily everywhere here. In most big cities and train stations in Londn. However your stationery pilgrimage would not be complete if you have not visited the Tottenham Court Road, London, Paperchase main shop.
Three floors of stationery heaven. I could never leave this place without spending at least £20. I can spend hours just looking around and deciding what to buy. In a year they would do at least 2 cycle of new designs, and each cycle would have 4 – 6 collection designs. Each time I would like to at least collect one of them, nightmare…
Here are some pictures of their stuff.
MUJI
My next favourite is of course MUJI, which is really a Japanese brand, I think is available in a lot of cities in the world. There is a Muji just across the road also in Tottenham Court Road.
I go to MUJI for their simple stationery. These days my favourite are their £0.99 passport-size sketchbooks and erasable multi-coloured pen. The sketchbooks are great for travelling, I have went through 8 last year.
Heals
If you want more fancy stationery on the same road you can find one of Britain’s high end shop called Heals . This shop doesn’t only sell stationery but a whole load of other beautiful things someone like me can’t really afford. 😄
Artbox
Further a way but walkable if I miss Asian cute stationery I walk to Covent Garden Seven Dials for Artbox. Where I buy this diary and pen
If you know any good stationery shop near you please share, I might visit one day.
Hi! Salam! Saya baru saja menemukan blog ini hasil random blog walking. Kamu tinggal di london ? Saya tinggal dan berkerja di social media di East London dan senang sekali bisa menemukan sesama warga Indonesia di UK. Coffee together sometimes if you’re in London ? Sheila
Hi! Salam. Saya kerja lumayan di central London area strand. Yeah sure. Check out my instagram account, saya lebih banyak disitu daripada disini.
Oh, I wish we had something like this here!
It would be such a motivational boost for me to draw and do more crafts for my blog!
(alasan baru kenapa hanya ada 2 posts bulan ini!) 😀
Hahaha! How are you doing Hari? Everything well?
I had a rough start this year but things are getting so much better now! 🙂
How about you? Are you having fun in 2015 so far? XD
Ah, I think we might be having similar times. Lets hope that ‘getting better ‘ stays..:)
Yes, let’s look forward to seeing better days ahead! XD
