The Encyclopedia of Early Earth
As the writer and illustrator, Isabel Greenberg, said on the book ‘This book is nor a real encyclopedia’. Isabel, instead, wrote her version of mythology, how the earth was created, with the usual key characters of how such things evolved : Gods, Love, Shamans, monsters, kings and their entourage.
The well illustrated graphic novel shows Isabel’s fascination with the Earth’s Poles and its inhabitant.
In a very comical way, the story has a complex web, that flows beautifully. Some of it felt like you are reading your own random stream of conciousness, which somehow make sense? Or maybe that is just my conciousness.
To sum it up, I think the 174 pages of A4 book is a fun read.
Do you like mythological stories? Have you got a specific myth you like?
