Chris Riddell – Illustration Inspiration
If I have to choose an activity to do with my favourite illustrators I would choose to learn how to draw from Chriss Riddell and probably have a chat over a cup of coffee with Oliver Jeffers. Why? I love Chris’ (I am just going pretend that I know him, hehehe) two coloured tone drawing but still very detailed, I want to learn his patience and skill in putting details in the work to make it eautiful. Whereas having a chat with Oliver ( it doesn’t seem appropriate to call him Mr. Jeffers, I don’t know why) I’d imagined to be very fun and cool.
Anyway, here are a few snaps of my favourite series by Mr. Riddell: Ottoline. You can see what I mean for yourselves.

Oh I’m a big fan of Both Chris Riddell and Paul Stewart! I love their combination as a writer and illustrator on Edge Chronicles , Barnaby Grimes and Far-Flung Adventures. They are my greatest influence since i decided to go on illustration :)) Chis Riddell’s illustrations inspired me a lot! I felt that the last Edge chronicle book they did was the epitome of Chris Riddell’s Art. The details are just glorious :))
Yes, big imagination, I really want to know how they think of the stories. By the way, your drawing are great too! =D
